Publications Intern

An excellent opportunity has arisen in the BES publications team for an intern to work with the team to support our aims for 2 days per week for the duration of 3 months.

The BES publications team facilitates the dissemination of high-impact ecological science around the globe. You will be working on a designated publishing project as well as having the opportunity to get a well-rounded overview of ecological journal and book publishing.

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and is passionate about publishing and ecology. Please see the job description, below, for more details about the role.

This internship is a part-time, fixed-term position, working two days a week for three months. Interns are paid the London Living Wage (£9.40/hour).

The role is based at Charles Darwin House in Central London.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Membership Manager to help grow membership and develop membership services. With an opportunity to make a real difference, you will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with all our audiences, helping them to foster an engaged and interactive membership.

You will administer and develop the membership database, and work closely with the Member Services Committee. Drawing on your skills and experiences in developing and implementing successful membership strategies, you will grow the membership and increase retention rates.
