AimsThe Mires Research Group fosters the study of, and interest in, wetland ecosystems. The main objectives are:

The MRG acts as an interface for discussion between members holding these interests.
To become a member of the MRG just e-mail Deborah Pearce and join the "bes-mire" mail-base (see below). This is the easiest way for the MRG secretary to keep you informed. Email discussion and information groupThe Mires Research Group runs an email discussion list, called "bes-mire", that is open to all researchers interested in mire and peatland systems. Messages may include research information, discussion and requests, news of future meetings and job advertisements.
