ABSTRACT SUBMISSION HAS NOW CLOSED
The BES is pleased to announce its 2008 Annual Meeting will be held at Imperial College London. It will be another stimulating mix of cutting edge science, career events and opportunities to network with a diverse, international collection of delegates based at the South Kensington campus. The main meeting will run from 3 - 5 September, with a dedicated Student Meeting on 2 September.

BES LECTURE The BES is honoured that Thomas Rosswall, Executive Director of ICSU, has agreed to deliver the BES Lecture.

ACCOMMODATION Please be aware that Imperial College has a strictly limited supply of accommodation, so rooms will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis; the BES expects demand to be exceptionally high. However, Imperial College do offer an accommodation finding service, which can be accessed here.

The BES is aware of the environmental impact of delegate travel, so the Society has forged a deal with National Express; delegates will be eligible for a 10% discount on any coach travel between the 1 - 7 September 2008.
