Find an ecological expert

If you are a policymaker or journalist looking for an ecologists to provide expert advice and comment, please contact the Science Policy Team for further information.  The BES maintains a searchable database of over 500 ecologists who are prepared to comment upon a range of ecological issues.  

BES Members

BES members are encouraged to complete a membership expertise form.  The BES will hold this information on its membership database in order to identify experts to provide ecological input to policy and the media.

By filling out the membership expertise form you can also indicate if you are interested in assessing BES grants.  The Grants Committee will select people to sit on grant assessment panels.

Please take a few minutes to fill out the attached Member Expertise Form and return it to the BES Office.
