Open consultations and inquiries
The BES welcomes input from its members in responding to consultation exercises. A list of open consultations that the BES will respond to individually or with other organisations can be found below. BES members can register their areas of expertise to get future information via e-mail.
To participate in the BES consultation responses, please send comments to the Science Policy Team. Comments must be received one week before the deadline of the consultation period to be taken into consideration by the BES when formulating its response. The Public and Policy Committee has the final authority for any external policy responses made by the BES.
Please read the consultation document and all technical papers before sending comments. Where consultation questions are provided in the consultation document, members should address these questions specifically. It is not necessary to answer all of the questions.
