Acidification is a relatively new problem that people don’t comprehend completely yet. maybe because it’s not as clear as CO2 emissions. Nonetheless, it’s importance is as equal and the consequences of the problem is not far from showing up in our everyday lives (as the statement says, we have up to 2050 if we continue with current rate of CO2 emissions).

The story you cover is one of the subjects that need addressing in the forthcoming celebration for World Oceans Day on July 8th. I think people need to do more to make the problem known so pressure to world leaders will intensify. It’s still not too late.
