Apologies, but I am sure how to reach the editors of the BES Blog so I am sending a note via this article/entry. An important study has been published in the US concerning widespread chemical contamination of fish in U.S. lakes and reservoirs. I beleive that this has implications for the UK and would be of interest to the wider ecological community. Information can be obtained at: http://www.epa.gov/waterscience/fishstudy.

Cheers,
