Venue information:

Charles Darwin House is the new office for the British Ecological Society and is jointly owned by the Biochemical Society and the Society of Experimental Biology. The ground floor of the newly refurbished building is dedicated to modern and fully equipped conference facilities which include a state of the art lecture theatre seating up to 150 people, a collection of smaller meeting rooms and breakout areas as well as exhibition and poster display space.

Charles Darwin House is situated in the heart of London, making it easily accessible by public transport. We strongly advise delegates against driving into central London by car, however if you do decide to drive to Charles Darwin House please note that we are situated within the congestion charge zone which operates weekdays 07:00-18:00 and costs £8 per day.

Parking is not available at Charles Darwin House except for 2 disabled parking bays which can be used if prior notice is given. Alternative parking is available at nearby NCP car parks, however please note that parking costs are likely to be very high in the central London area. Visit the NCP website for further details.
