Residential weekend courses on teaching ecology/biology in the field for NQTs for only £40, provided through a partnership between BES and the Field Studies Council (FSC). You can discover for yourself that field work can be an excellent way of delivering exciting science and also that, with a little expert tuition, it's much easier than you think. Current courses are particularly suited to the teaching of science/biology at GCSE and Biology at A level. We hope to introduce similar courses for primary science soon.
