BES Grant Reports

The Society funds several grant schemes where the successful applicants are expected to produce reports at the end of their project.  Reports are kept for around three years from the date of the award before either being fully loaded onto this webpage or having an abstract and a link to their journal publishers provided where relevant. The BES is striving to publish more reports online, so please return to this page for the latest updates.

Grant report templates for grants funded post August 2012:

• Research Grant report template Reports should be a maximum of 7 pages long.
• When awardees have been asked to submit more than one report over the duration of the funded project, please use the Interim grant report form These reports should be a maximum of 4 pages long.
• Ecologists in Africa report template Reports should be a maximum of 7 pages long.
• Training and Travel report template Reports should be a maximum of 2 pages long.
• Outreach report template Reports should be a maximum of 5 pages long.

Grant report templates for grants funded before August 2012 to individuals:

• To submit an Travel Grant for attendance at BES meetings, Student support for attendance at Ecological conferences or Specialist Course grant report, please download our Attendance Grant Report Template. Reports should be maximum of  2 pages long.
• To submit a final report for any individual grant awards, please download our Report Template. Reports should be a maximum of 7 pages long.
• Where awardees have been asked to submit more than one report over the duration of the funded project please use the following interim report template for all reporting except for the final report where the above final report template should be used Interim Report Template. Reports should be a maximum of 4 pages long.
• To submit an Education Grant report, please download our Education Grant Report Template. Reports should be maximum of  4 pages long.
• To submit a report for a Public Engagement Grant or for a Workshop or Commemorative event funded by the BES, please download our  PEG and Meeting Report Template.
