Building Capacity for Ecology Fund The Building Capacity for Ecology Fund supports ecologists in Eastern Europe and Africa develop networks of ecologists in their countries.

Grants to attend meetings and courses Student support for attendance at BES meetings; Attendance at conferences, symposia, workshops and courses; Specialist Course Grants; Travel Grants for Ecologists from Developing Countries to attend BES meetings; Student Conference and Meeting Support.
Ecological Opportunities Fund This grant is open to significant, innovative and worthwhile projects that clearly fall within the remit of the society but that fall outside any of the above funding schemes. Applications need to show how they will significantly benefit the careers of young ecologists or the science of ecology. (This grant is temporarily closed.)
