Field, laboratory and theoretical studies based upon terrestrial, freshwater or marine systems are all considered for publication. The Editors are specifically seeking papers that are novel, interesting and make general contributions to the broad field of animal ecology and ecologists. Papers using molecular approaches to address the central ecological pattern/process are also encouraged
