The final scientific programme is now online.
Please read the following important information before submitting your abstract:

Delegates can only present one oral talk, but can submit multiple posters.
There will be approximately 35 oral sessions during the 2 1/2 days covering all aspects of ecology.
Oral presentations are limited to third year PhD level and above but first and second year students are encouraged to submit posters. Students presenting talks or posters can enter their submissions for the Student Prize, please ensure you tick the appropriate box when submitting your abstract.
The poster sessions are an important part of the meeting and we are expect over 100 submissions this year.
All provisionally accepted presenters, of both posters and orals, must book and pay for the meeting by 14 June - the Early Bird discount deadline. Failure to do so will result in your abstract being removed from the programme. BOOK HERE NOW!
The final deadline for registration is 2 August.
The final programme will be available on the BES website by 5 July.
Oral presentations:
Your presentation should not exceed 20 minutes (unless you are a keynote speaker) and we would expect you to speak for 15 minutes, leaving the remaining five for questions and discussion. Delegates can only present one oral talk, but can submit multiple posters.
Poster presentations:
The poster boards are 1m wide x 2m high portrait (A0). Posters should be attached to the boards by sticky Velcro tape that you should bring with you. Each poster should include a photograph of the lead author to help delegates identify the presenter.
If you have entered your poster for a BES award, there will be an additional identifying brightly coloured sticker on your poster board. Delegates will be invited to vote for their favourite poster based on categories including: visual style, scientific content, originality of research, and effectiveness of communication.
