Meetings and Events

BES Annual Meeting 2011
12 - 14 September
University of Sheffield, UK

Personal timetable

We are incredibly pleased to present such a full and diverse scientific programme. Following feedback from previous meetings, we have reduced the length of individual talks to 15 minutes; this allows us to schedule in even more presentations, giving more people the opportunity to present their research. We have also increased the duration of lunch to enable you to better network and take advantage of the numerous workshops and events we have planned.

We think it important to create a hub at our meetings, which is why we group posters, exhibitors, refreshments and lunches in close proximity. However, this does mean that we have had to split posters into two sessions - rest assured that we have engineered events for maximum exposure. Poster Group 1 consists of Sessions A to D and is on Monday; Poster Group 2 consists of Sessions E to H, which is on Tuesday

Do not forget to use the personal planning function in this section to create your own timetable; just click on the word 'Add' at the side of a talk to include it in your schedule.

Thematic Topics are always thought provoking and topical and this year is no exception; if you are interested in organising a topic for the 2012 Annual Meeting, contact Richard English. Please note that the 2012 Annual Meeting will be held in Birmingham in DECEMBER.

For simplicity, the programme has been divided into day headings; expand a heading to view all the sessions happening that day then click on a session to view all the talks within it.

We look forward to welcoming you in Sheffield.
