Charles Darwin House Conference Centre
The BES is delighted to offer members the use of the facilities in the Charles Darwin House Conference Centre. The Conference Centre is a commercial facility so we are only able to offer one room a month free of charge. Once this allocation is used up, members can still book a room with a discount of 20%. Bookings will be subject to availability. You can make a booking up to four weeks in advance. Room hire is free. All other services, including catering, will be charged at normal prices. There will be a cancellation charge if you can’t make the arranged date.

BES Symposium Volumes and Special Publications
The BES publishes the Symposium Volumes and Special Publications series available through Blackwell Publishing. BES members get a significant discount on both hardback and paperback copies.

BES members are eligible for the following:

British Wildlife
British Wildlife is an independent bi-monthly magazine covering all aspects of British natural history and conservation. BES members are eligible for a concessionary subscription. Biological Conservation

Global Change Biology
Members of the British Ecological Society can take advantage of a discount on Global Change Biology. The regular Personal Rate is £213 for the 2013 for print and online, but BES members can enjoy online only subscription for just £51.
