Public Policy

Get Involved

  • Do you want your science to inform decisions which shape society?
  • Is it important to you that policies are evidence-based?
  • Are you looking for ways to communicate the excitement of your research to the public?

Work with the BES Policy Team to inform policy-making on everything from climate change, the marine environment and biodiversity, to natural capital accounting and funding for ecological research.

Wherever you are in your career, there are many opportunities to get involved with science policy at the BES.
