Public Events

The BES strives to engage the public with the excitement of ecological science.

Members of the BES are encouraged to apply for our Public Engagement Grant, which awards up to £3,000 to projects which aim to engage and enthuse the public about the science of ecology.

In 2009 and 2010, the BES ran activities at the British Science Festival, one of Europe's largest science festivals.
