Join Council

Council runs the BES and Council members get involved in all the Society’s activities. Council members are nominated and are elected annually by the membership at the Society’s AGM, held in association with the Annual Meeting. The Society would not be able to operate without the significant amount of time each gives to the BES.

If you would like to be nominated you need to complete a nomination form and return it to the BES by 1 May in any given year. If you would like to know more about being a Council member you are very welcome to contact the Society’s Executive Director, Dr Hazel Norman.
