Regular events

Policy Training Workshop

The BES and Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) worked together to organise a policy training workshop each year between 2009 and 2011.

This year the BES is running the event for members and non-members, on 22nd – 23rd October 2013.

The workshop aims to give early career researchers in ecology an insight into how the policy making process works, and how to communicate effectively with policy-makers. Find out more information here.

Annual Meeting

In 2013, the BES Annual Meeting will take place as INTECOL, the largest conference for ecological scientists in the world.
