Abstract

Describes an experiment in which simulated June rainfalls of 200-500 mm. were applied on sandy soils, and of 300-600 mm. on clay soils. Results showed that the germination % of A. senegal is a direct function of the amount of simulated rainfall, and that the soil type and frequency and intensity of rains also affect germination.
