Abstract

The Dutch guidelines for nature management in rural areas (ANLb2016) distinguishes for the province Noord-Brabant 6 habitat types. These habitat types are based on international and provincial target species. The main ecotopes are described for each habitat type and its efficiency criteria are formulated. The 6 habitat types are: open grassland with ditches, open fields on clay soils with ditches, open fields on sandy soils, low moorlands with ditches, moist (ponds) habitats on loam soils, and hedges along the Meuse river ('Maasheggen').
