Success and failure factors in farmer-based water management.
Abstract
Farmer-based water management is becoming more important in the Netherlands. Factors influencing its success are discussed, based on project reports, interviews with experts and an assessment of the GLB/POP3 tool (used by local councils and parishes). Recommendations are tabulated.
