European woodland history and management: some concluding thoughts.
Abstract
This chapter provides some concluding thoughts and recommendations on the history and management of the European woodlands. It is hoped that this publication provides a modest step to raise awareness and enthusiasm. There is so much more to learn and to read through understanding the web of relations in the mysterious world of ancient woodlands and ancient trees.
