Abstract

Scientific knowledge for conservation has accumulated fast worldwide but the practice research interface needs to be emphasized. Conservation based on evidence intended to address this issue with: (i) critical synthesis of evidence and assessment (systematic review); (ii) present easy-to-understand evidence in a simple way (synopsis and decision support tool); and (iii) make decisions based on evidence of avoiding bias, improve sincerity and effectiveness.
