BES-SPG/NESEN Science Day and Workshop
The North-East Scotland Ecology Network (NESEN) and The British Ecological Society Scottish Policy Group (BES-SPG) will be running a joint Science Day and Workshop.
The NESEN Annual Science Day: 09:30am – 2:20pm. Your research work does not have to be based in the North-East – we’re interested in any ecological science irrespective of how or where it’s done.
The BES-SPG Workshop: 2:30pm – 4:45pm. This interactive workshop session will focus on ‘the cumulative ecological effects of offshore renewables.’ The session will start with three short presentations and then we will enter into groups to discuss a set of questions. To kick off the workshop we will be hearing from:
- Professor Beth Scott at University of Aberdeen, School of Biological Sciences
- Erica Knott, Head of Marine Energy, Sustainable Coasts and Seas at NatureScot
- Dr Ewan Edwards, Environmental Specialist at Xodus
Attendance for both sessions is free and open to all, simply enter your details below to register and secure your place.
