Free public engagement training
Delivered by Science Made Simple and British Ecological Society (BES) staff.
Who’s it for?
We’re launching our 2016/17 public engagement training programme and are inviting BES members to participate in our free course. Our aim is to inspire and support you to undertake effective public engagement and learn how to engage a broader audience with your research.
Via a combination of training and practical delivery opportunities at fantastic events such as Wychwood and RHS Chelsea Flower Show, you will learn some of the skills required to effectively communicate your science and develop your public engagement capability.
The programme will consist of two interactive training days and practical delivery experience where you will have the fantastic opportunity of delivering at one of two prestigious events; a large national event and a UK music festival (to be confirmed).
