Hosted at the Great North Museum: Hancock in Newcastle, we are providing a free public engagement training workshop for BES members in developing live science demonstrations, presenting skills, and performance techniques.
Ideal for hands-on public engagement at events and other live formats, you will learn essential tips-and-tricks and then develop your own ideas for activities with one-on-one expert advice.
The training will be provided by Science Made Simple, specialists with over 15 years of experience connecting researchers and the public. Attendees are encouraged to develop their activity ideas further with the BES after the training workshop for opportunities to deliver them at the Great North Museum: Hancock and BES public engagement events in future.
