Course outline

We will soon be launching our 2018 public engagement training programme and are inviting BES members to participate in our free course (how to become a member). Our aim is to inspire and support you to undertake effective science engagement activities and learn how to communicate your research to a diverse audience.

Via a combination of training and practical delivery opportunities at fantastic events such as Glastonbury and RHS Chelsea Flower Show, you will learn some of the skills required to effectively communicate your science and develop your public engagement capability.

The programme will consist of two interactive training days and practical delivery experience where you will have the fantastic opportunity of delivering at national events, including music festivals.
