Providing wellbeing resources for our community
This section of our website is for resources to help improve our community’s general wellbeing. We shall be adding content to this over time, so please pop back regularly.
Mental Health in Academia, The Bulletin, 49:3 (2018). Two members from our Accessibility Network share their experiences and offer some advice on how to navigate mental health issues at different career stages in academia.
At our 2017 Annual Meeting in Ghent, we hosted a workshop on stress management facilitated by Mind, the mental health charity. You are welcome to download and share the presentation below.
At our 2018 Annual Meeting in Birmingham, we will be working with Mind again to run a workshop on Wellness and Resilience: maintaining your ability to stay healthy. More details of this can be found on the conference website. If you have any question please get in touch with Andrea Baier.
We have also added a section to our Annual Meeting website dedicated to what provisions we have in place to support delegates with medical, physical and mental health needs.
