Future of ecology: tell us your ideas
We’ve launched a project to set out the priorities for future ecological research in the UK, built on your ideas and insight.
‘The Future of Ecological Research in the UK’ project aims to develop a unified vision of the grand challenges for ecology and how they can best be met.
The first stage of the project, in which we collected your ideas about the research priorities for UK-based ecologists, has now closed.
We are no longer taking submissions.
This is not the last opportunity for you to get involved, however.
We are now convening meetings with ecologists from different backgrounds, drawing on these ideas and taking them further. After this, a draft statement or outline of the grand challenges for ecology will be produced.
You will be able to take part in a further consultation and feedback process at that point. This will help us refine the statement and test its vision.
