Flexible friends: plastic social buffering of environmental variation
Journal of Animal Ecology is looking for proposals for papers as part of a Special Feature on social buffering of environmental variation. This Special Feature aims to explore how organisms plasticly alter their social behaviour in response to environmental variation, how these changes affect fitness, and whether plasticity in social behaviour allows populations to cope with current human-induced rapid environmental change. We are looking for empirical, theoretical and methods papers as part of this Special Feature.
