The Mangrove swamps of Keneba, Lower Gambia river basin. II. Sulphur and pH in the profiles of swamp soils.
Abstract
This paper reports and compares the free and sulfate S contents in the soil profiles from barren flats and Mangrove communities previously described [cf.F.A.27 No.398]. The pH values of both dried and fresh soils, and the daily water levels and pH of the water table are reported and discussed.
