Leaf volume: a simple method for measurement and some notes on its use in studies of leaf growth.
Abstract
A liquid displacement method is described for rapidly measuring the volumes of individual detached leaves or other small plant parts. It is accurate to ± 0.01 ml. or less. Examples of the way in which volume measurement can be used to identify the gross morphological leaf characteristics are presented for several species, including Coffea arabica. -Univ. Reading.
