Abstract

Plantago lanceolata was grown at a range of sowing rates in controlled-environment, glasshouse and field experiments in competition with perennial ryegrass and (field trials only) white clover. The proportional yields of the species appeared to depend on the effects of environment and management on ryegrass growth.-R.B.
