Abstract

CO2 and water vapour exchange above and below the canopy of an uneven-aged stand of oak/hickory near Oak Ridge, Tennessee, USA, were measured using the eddy correlation technique. Good agreement was found between measured values and those computed from models of leaf photosynthesis, canopy radiative transfer and water use efficiency.
