Impacts of development on ancient woodland and trees: evidence review 2012-2021.
Abstract
The aim of this report is to review and synthesize evidence of the impacts of development on ancient woodland and trees, and veteran trees since 2012. The collated evidence will be used by the Woodland Trust to develop technical notes on the impact of development on ancient woodland and trees in order to provide due regard before, during and post development. Secondary objectives of the report are to highlight evidence led mitigation and identify evidence gaps that require further investigation.
