Abstract
This paper describes a 2015 project on the distribution; population dynamics; ecology; environmental impact; risk assessment and practical, humane and cost-effective options for managing populations of feral pigs (Sus scrofa)in Scotland, UK. The results will provide science-based evidence to develop informed policies for the management of feral pigs in Scotland.
