Abstract

This report presents the outcomes of the inaugural Terrestrial Assess, Inventory and Monitor panel conducted by the Uncompahgre Field Office, initiated in the summer of 2022. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the status and conditions of key indicators derived from the AIM dataset, comparing them to reference conditions outlined in Ecological Site Descriptions or, when necessary, Ecological Site Groups. Spatially explicit inferential statistics are employed for comparisons, facilitating the interpretation of the percentage of the field office meeting specified management conditions in the Resource Management Plan (RMP). The entire process, executed primarily in the R programming language with occasional use of 'bash' and Python, is meticulously documented using version control software 'git' on Github, ensuring transparency and ease of replication for future endeavors.
