Michele Dechoum
Michele Dechoum is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ecology and Zoology at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Her main research interests are (1) to assess key factors related to biological invasions in tropical and subtropical ecosystems, (2) to identify impacts generated by non-native invasive species in these ecosystems, and (3) to assess the effect of management in invaded communities and on the restoration of key ecosystem functions and processes. She strives to contribute to solving real conservation problems and wants to provide references and solutions for current environmental issues.
