Abstract

The possible use of tropical insects as indicators for monitoring forest disturbance and regeneration is discussed with reference to whether species-abundance relationships are useful for monitoring invertebrate responses, which type of data analyses should focus on, and which invertebrate taxa should be considered for the analyses.
