I have recently retired from what is now Nature Scot, and over a long career with the organisation I was an area Manager for the Forth Area, led the Programme Office and was Programme Manager for People and Places before a final stint as Head of Protected Areas and Surveillance.  I now am on the Board of APRS and Paddle Scotland, which reflects another passion of mine alongside ecology.
