Thank you for your interest in Journal of Applied Ecology’s mentoring opportunity. If you’re less than five years post-PhD, live in or are from the Global South, and looking to gain hands-on experience with an editorial board then apply using the form below.

This scheme is designed to offer early career researchers a chance to learn about the Associate Editor role and gain editorial experience. Participants work with the Senior Editors who provide guidance on handling papers during a two-year training post. Further details about the scheme are available here.
