I joined the network as I want to work helping both ecologists and the LGBTQ+ Community, so this is the ideal place for me!

I am in my last year studying Conservation Biology and Management at the University of Stirling. My dissertation will be on the sex ratio evolution in a North American species of fig wasp, as my biggest interest by far are insects and specifically wasps!

I am the president of the LGBTQ+ Society at my university so I have spent a lot of my time there working with the LGBTQ+ community at the university and with Scottish LGBTQ+ based charities, from providing a safe space and safe activities to campaigning and fundraising.
