I am a Bioscience Tutor at Cardiff University, specialising in data analysis and statistics. My research background is in movement ecology, specifically the impacts of anthropogenic disturbance on the movements of marine predators (seabirds and marine mammals). I also have broad professional experience in marine ecology as an Commercial RYA Skipper and Commercial HSE SCUBA Diver, and have worked as a Research Technician for Project Seagrass and SEACAMS2; roles that involved work on habitat restoration and marine renewable energy. I have previous science policy experience with the Royal Society, working as part of their Data Team on projects ranging from artificial intelligence to data governance.
